Heaven of the South 2012 will be officially started by Carley Rugman – Miss Bristol 2012. So, puff out your chest and suck in that stomach…

Just as important as the drink Nearly as important as the drink, is the food.

Last year our caters got it wrong – this year it’s going to be fantastic. All meals will be cooked and served in the village hall so you’ll be able to sit down and eat no matter what.

Meals available (coffee / tea / soft drinks available most of the time too).

Friday PM (4.30-7.30pm)

Cajun Chicken with rice or Ratatioulle (Veg) £5 per portion.

Saturday AM (7.30-9am)

Sausage / Bacon Rolls £2.50 each. Cereals / milk £1.50 each.

Saturday PM (4-7.30pm)

Beef Casserole with Dauphinoise Potatoes or Veg Pasta Bake £5 per portion.

Sunday AM

Sausage / Bacon Rolls £2.50 each. Cereals / milk £1.50 each.

If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

For all you football fans, the Champions League final will also be on in the bar on the Saturday night. Cycling, footy, cider, sunshine. Who could ask for more…?

The organisers of HOTS recently did the 75km on a beautiful Sunday (remember them). (Click above to see pics)

We had a meeting recently, and think that we are charging too much for people coming to the event and not camping, so from now on the event+entertainment will cost £30, with an additional £10 should you decide to camp.

People that have already paid £40 and are not camping will get a £10 refund over the next week – you don’t have to do anything to claim this.

Last Sunday 11 of us completed the 75km course to check marshal points and food stops. It was a brilliant day out, and though there was a lot of climbing the course is fantastic. We estimate about 75% is off road.
